Visitor Center
The mission of the Surprise Valley Community And Visitor Center is to preserve and protect the integrity of the Surprise Valley Community by promoting historic preservation, supporting sustainable economic development and enhancing the visitor experience on public and private land.
The first project is to raise funds for a community/visitor center. As a gateway to the Black Rock Desert, High Rock Canyon, Emigrant Trails, the National Conservation Area, the northwestern Great Basin and the Warner Mountains we want to help preserve the area by providing accurate information to the public that will encourage them to stay safe and leave no trace.
We have a mall for your Internet shopping providing special discounts that are not
available elsewhere. With over 400 stores there is most likely an Internet store
that will give you a great shopping experience and a desire to return. The mall stores
have all agreed to give us a small percentage of their profit from sales to you -
The Surprise Valley Community And Visitor Center is and official 501 (c) (3) so your donations are fully tax deductible
Send money to SVCAVC, PO Box 193, Cedarville, CA 96104 or donate here.
